Eek...I almost missed playing this week! I've been organizing, purging, and cleaning like so many others and we've had some sun so I've been giving the yard some love. The Tic Tac Toe Challenge board from Felicita this week is a good one:
I decided to go with the bottom row across for my card: Stripes (the leaves), Black, and Heat Embossing (the sentiment).
I must give credit to Gina K. for this card design. I watched this video --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d55aE0HizZo one night and realized, 'Hey...I have that stamp!' I love it when that happens :)
I stamped the Bold & Blooming image in VersaFine Onyx Black on Classic Crest Sand cardstock. I colored the blooms and leaves with a white Prismacolor pencil. The perfect sentiment is from Unity & Co. and it was heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Raven embossing powder and popped up with foam tape. I added a white cardstock layer and mounted it onto a Hero Arts Black notecard. The finishing touch was some black bling from my stash. This card is going to one of my buddies from the Cancer Center where we met during chemotherapy. She's one of the most positive people I have ever known!
Hope all is well with everyone and you're staying safe and crafty!
Hugs,
Annie
Oh my gosh, I LOVE this card! Your embossing stands out so well, and the white really makes it pop! Your friend will love it too! Thanks for playing with our challenge this week at Tic Tac Toe!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Annie you rocked the Tic Tac Toe board this week. I love your design and the sentiment is so perfect. So many of my girlfriends have been diagnosed with cancer and this card would be perfect for them. Thank you so much for joining us each week over at Tic Tac Toe challenge.
