Tic Tac Toe Challenge #095

Hello Friends!  It's the last Tic Tac Toe Challenge for 2020.  We'll be back in January to kick off a New Year.  This week we continue to celebrate the holidays with another fun board:

I had a hard time deciding which row to use this time - so many great choices!  Here's the first card using the 2nd row across:  Red, Die Cut & Poinsettia.  I used the Plush Poinsettia DSP from Stampin' Up which is flocked and so pretty on the vellum.

Then I made a second card following the 2nd row down: Bricks, Die Cut & Stocking.  I had left over bits from Stampin' Up's Tag Buffet that worked perfectly for the stocking against a brick embossed layer.

Hope you'll play along with us and that you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  See you in 2021!

Hugs,

Annie

Shopping Our Stash #435: What's black and white and red all over?

 Hello Friends,

Today I'm also playing along over at Shopping Our Stash where the challenge is to create a black, white, and red project.

It just happens to be one of my all time favorite color combinations.  I played around with a card kit from Impress using the Spellbinders "Building Snowman" die, Poppystamp frame dies, and DSP from Carta Bella and MFT.  I love the silhouette look!  The sentiment is from Penny Black's "Bright and Light" stamp set and I thought it was perfect for the scene.

Thanks for stopping by.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hugs,

Ann

The Paper Players #521: Claire's Color Challenge

Hello Friends!  Claire over at The Paper Players has come up with a wonderful color challenge to finish off the year:

It reminds me of celebrations of any kind but was a great starting point for my Happy New Year cards:

On a white card base, I layered a black frame and inlaid a piece of Stampin' Up's Year of Cheer DSP.  The numbers were die cut (MFT) from Stampin' Up Silver Metallic cardstock and a Happy New Year sentiment strip from SSS popped up.  I added rhinestones and silver confetti sequins to finish off the card.  It's very shiny and sparkly but hard to photograph!

Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for a Very Happy New Year!

Hugs,
Annie

Tic Tac Toe Challenge #093

Happy Holidays! Today we have a brand new board for you over at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge:

Lots of fun choices for your holiday cards on this one!  For my DT card, I played along with the first row across: Snowman, Thanks & Embossing Paste

I stamped a piece of Stampin' Up Pool Party cardstock with Pool Party ink using various snowflake stamps from Simon Says Stamp.  On a smaller piece of Pool Party, I stenciled snowflakes using Faber-Castell Glass Bead Glitter Gel...so sparkly and fun!  I layered both on a piece of Stampin' Up Real Red cardstock and then on a Neenah Solar White card base.  The stamped and die cut snowman is from an old Stamps of Life set called 'snowman2build.' I paper pieced his gloves and scarf from a scrap of Real Red DSP and added white gel pen highlights.  To finish the card, I heat embossed the Concord & 9th sentiment, die cut a banner, and popped it up.

Thanks "snow much" for stopping by!  I hope you'll find some time during this busy season to play along with us over at TTTC this week.

Hugs,

Annie

The Paper Players #520: A Theme from Joanne

Hi Friends! Today I'm playing along over at The Paper Players where Joanne is hosting a Theme Challenge for Christmas:

I'm still working on Christmas cards and I'm sure I have enough but I just LOVE making them!  My card today is clean and simple using MFT's Winter Songbirds and Winter Wreath, colored with Stampin' Up Blends.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Holidays!

Hugs,

Annie

Shopping Our Stash #434: Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Hi Friends! Today I'm playing along over at Shopping Our Stash where the theme is "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow."

Here's my card with some very glittery die cut snowflakes using Stampin' Up's Balmy Blue Glitter paper, Waffle Flower's stripes stencil, and Darice snowflake embossing folder.  So sparkly!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Holidays!

Hugs,
Annie
